I think the problem I have with the image is the branches and wires/cords clutter the scene and dilute the subject, which otherwise would have more macabre interest.

Yes, the overgrowth presents a challenge ... yet it is also integral to the presentation of time ... along with the peeled paint.
The height / overhead angle also presents a challenge.
Here's an sooc of the second one maybe to play with alternative crop / framing processing considerations.
