I do not know what you guys mean when you talk about web size. Do you realize you can look at the M-sized jpeg just by clicking on the 'All Sizes' tab on the top right of each selected image? I am sure they are all in-camera jpeg. No RAW to speak of.
Ralph, you are right that many photos are blurry because they are handheld. The camera shake signatures are there.
They want a full rez RAW sans processing so they can pixel peep and moan about noise and softness.

Well if the noise and softness are there...then it's not moaning, but rather just outlining the facts. I think before we all pee our pants over the first few photos, let's wait until the camera gets into the right hands and get proper testing done on it. A few handheld slow shutter jpeg images tells you squat about the capabilities of the sensor.

It looks like a cheap FX camera. Other than that and the WIFI, what is really enough of an advantage over the 5D III or 1D-X?
EBH
I don't think anyone expects the new 6D to trump the 5D3. If anything, it'd be just slightly better in term of noise. I can't think much of anything that a 5D3 user will replace theirs with a 6D.
I am personally interested in a 6D as a small & lightweight solution. I'm also interested in the wifi application.

I just checked with my local store, AU$2400.
It is a camera no one will love, given how outclassed it is by the Nikon D600. I predict heavy discounting and a short sad life. Looking forward to its replacement in 18 months or less.

Right.... The D600 has serious sensor dust issue, hopelessly inconsistent and incapable AF in low light.... Outclassed? I think not...

So, the hopelessly inept (single-point) AF on the 6D is somehow better ?? You wish .
Btw, the D600 got a $100 discount today and Amazon, B&H, et all.
Thus, in addition to been hopelessly spec'd (for a 2012 premium model), the 6D is now officially more expensive too.
Great !!!

You actually thinking of one or just curious?
Not my cup of tea.
Just curious. Like hell I'm paying that much for a crippled full frame. If it was under $2000, maybe...
After using the 7D, I don't think I can go back to center only AF and less than 100% VF. The way I see it, balancing all the 7D features that didn't make it into the 6D with FF sensor and GPS+WiFi, I reckon the 6D should cost $100 more (at the most) than the 7D.
I'd rather get the 5D3... but first thing's first. Gonna get me a motorbike for Xmas so full frame will have to wait.

Those are pretty strong words. I take it you are talking from experience using the D600 or are you just being an Internet parrot?
Are you defending Geoff then? I haven't shot the D600 or 6D, but I have heard about the dust issue (nothing about bad AF). There was also an early review on here about how the 6D has some of the best AF in low light period (-3EV, right?) and how Canon has finally solved the shadow banding issue. What I don't understand is how someone can say the 6D is outclassed by the D600 already.

Twin cards slots, on-board flash which can be used as a master, faster frame rate, bigger viewfinder, higher resolution.
