I just created a web based app to tell you the shutter count of your camera. For the most part it works with nikon cameras but if you don't see what you are looking for you can show all the exif data and maybe find it there.

Unlike myshuttercount, my app allows you to use a photo url to view the data. this way you don't have t upload it.

Anyway, thought you might find it useful. And yes, it's brand new so I will have to work out the bugs

I think for canon users, if you look at all the exif data, Application Record Version may be the shutter count. I need to verify this.

I can't get it to work, but then, I can't seem to get LR 4.1 to export JPG's with EXIF intact.

Unfortunately Canon doesn't store the actuation count in EXIF. It's available on some bodies via USB+their SDK.

you have to provide an actual url to a photo like http ://www ......photo.jpg

for example, right click on the image below and copy the image location / url. then paste it in the form.

Could not get it to work for me. must be flickr. The photo link you posted worked fine.

David, you must use the original file (View all sizes -> original) for it to work in Flickr, it doesn't work with the resized-by-Flickr versions.

Thats what I did. Seems to not work with my D7000 or D700 and worked with my D3.
