Hello Everyone,
Winter has come early to my part of Canada. We have already had close to two feet of snow fall this year! Along with the snow comes longer nights and more photographic opportunities to image the Aurora Borealis. On Nov 13/14 earth was impacted by a CME(Coronal Mass Ejection) from the sun. As this energy interacted with our magnetosphere it produced a stunning display of aurora that lasted from Nov 13, 6:30pm to Nov 14, 5:00am in my location. Each of the following images is one frame of a composition from footage I will be assembling into a new feature HD Time-lapse video which will be released right around the end of Autumn. Until then please enjoy these pics!
Cheers,
Z

Jaw dropping! Totally amazed at this Zoltan! I briefly went to your site and will look at it more after work. I surely would like to witness and capture this but don't know where to start. I've looked at options for Iceland but they are cost prohibitive. Perhaps as trip to Edmonton might just be the ticket.
Thanks for sharing this. I echo your sentiment that all of us need to see this even just once.
Awesome shots! The last looks like it has a tornado vortex working in it!! I've only seen aurora twice in 65 years so you are very lucky to be able to see it. Thanks for sharing.
