Shot this later in the morning after the last post. Those that walk through the narrows in Zion probably think where does the Virgin River end, well you're looking at it. This is one of the last places it passes before it mixes into the waters of the Colorado River.
It should be sharper but I used a 2x teleconverter, don't know why I haven't sold the thing. I envy those of you with focal ranges beyond 200mm!
Started of a morning with a silhouette of Elephant Arch. Silhouettes are always a lot easier to pull off then the conventional shots showing greater dynamic range and the shutter is so faster so you may be able to pull them off hand held. It was way too early in the morning for a handheld shot this time.
Great photos! I still have yet to visit VoF. I really like #2. Its an interesting photo and makes you wonder how did the rocks go from pt A to pt B. I reminds me of this game I saw in S.E Asia. Its a wood board with scooped out holes and marbles on each side. I don't know how to play it but this photo reminds me of it .

Very nice Steve. I like numbers 1, 2, 4 and 3 in that order. Number 2 reminds me of those little pockets where you never know what is in there...
Hi, Steve. Lovely shots. Am I the only one that sees this? does Elephant Rock remind anyone of a photographer looking through the viewfinder of a camera mounted on a heavy duty monopod?
