Bri, there are two different species shown, U. ornata (1-3) and U. geryi (4-5). I keep three species total.

Michael, what you're seeing is known as 'snalt'...it's basically excess salts that are excreted through the nasal passages. When these salts mix with fluids (snot) they form a liquid substance that dries and crusts over.
