For my entrance into this place I though I'd share a couple shots from last Saturday in Chicago. It was cold, gloomy and downright empty near the lake. I'm pretty pleased with how these capture the mood.
Thanks! As for the distortion, I assume you're referring to the not-exactly-straight buildings? I should have been a little more careful with where the horizon was. If it was something else, let me know -- I have sooo much left to learn about all of this.
I'm also really excited that this forum seems more focused on photography and less so on technology and flame wars over gear.
For me they are a little right heavy -- feels like something is missing on the left half of the view. The first one is better in this regard, though.
