That is still one of the reasons of existence of medium format digital backs. Too many amateur photographers believe digital backs are here for megapixels, bit depth or whatever, but the image rendering in an image circle that covers 6X6 or 6X7 is very much different from (35mm) full frame. Just like the 35 mm renders different from APS-C and smaller.
BTW, some good samples that show that DOF and bokeh are not the same. I particularly like the Pentax 67 shots. THX for sharing!
I have a question : ) !!!
I have two Hasselblad V lenses: an 80 mm. f/2.8,
and a 120 mm. f/4 Makro. Both of them were
used on a Hasselblad V and the pictures I got
were always very nice! I am thinking of buying
another lens from Hasselblad V. It is a "C" lens.
I would also use them on a full frame 35 mm.
dSLR. I am not sure yet on which one. However,
before I go ahead to buy the the lens or the
camera, I would like to ask you how's been your
experience using medium format lenses on a DSLR.
How hard has it been to focus? Which adapter(s)
have you used?
Thank you in advance, kind regards,
igmolinav : ) !!!
P.S. I see that some of you use Hasselblad lenses.
I would like to send my lenses and a 500C body to
CLA. Is there a place or repairman you may
recommend?
Hopefully this thread will continue. I would also like
to post in the near future!

i am wanting to buy the Rolleiflex 6008i, am I nuts?
No, you are not nuts! It is a great camera. I started with a
Hasselblad by accident. Some two years later, I found out
about the Rolleiflex 6008i Even though i haven't owned it,
I have found amazing comments for it! One downside is,
that if it goes "kaputt", it is perhaps much more recommen-
dable to send it to Germany for repair. The market in the
USA is somewhat reduced, compared to Hasselblads. I
didn't hear of good repair options there. The
camera has a great metering system that can allow you to
work not only on location, but also when you do "documen-
tary work" of whatever. It offers or offered lenses for "three
types" of budget, being the Schneider ones the most
expensive. It is compatible with some digital backs.
Great Thread. There should be a lot more photos.
Im looking into this Format and someone local is selling a Mamiya m645 1000s with 150mm F4. Where can I see images shot with this lens.
On the net somewhere there is a place that people post there images of a certain lens or a certain camera. Does something like this exist for Medium Format....
You can find flickr groups devoted to just about every camera. That's where I turn to when I want to research a camera or lens. Just find the appropriate flickr group and start browsing images.

Funny to read about Flickr, when all of a sudden the claim we have unlimited space, yet limit us ti 1 terabyte, sure it is a large sum, but why say it is unlimited, yet 1 terabyte is stated? hmmm?
I used the color polaroid on my Rollei 6008, with the Rollei Planar 80mm f/2.8 HFT PQS lens, and of course Emily Ashley Dickinson, and Edgar Allan Gnome.
