Nice thread! First time I join. Can you change votes after you have seen all contributions at the end of the month?

Yes, Michiel, in November you post one of your October pics, and you vote on what has been submitted the previous month, meaning, I guess, September pics. In any case, welcome, this is a fine, fun thread. I just wish not so many great people were here, my chances of winning one day might get better...
Took this 10/20, despite what the exit data from PS’s save and resize images says (I was going to post a different pic from my OM-D, but found that one was taken 11/10! I feel this is a bit cheating as an alt lens pic because it's on a Nikon body and since I’m told the Tokina is one of the most common/sharpest APS-C wide angle lenses out there). These are anti-tsunami concrete blocks on a pier, with the lights of fishing boats and a prominent local island in the background.
Voting was hard ☹, but in the end I chose based on those I thought were the most visually special.

Camera body: Nikon D90
Lens: Tokina 11-16
Aperture: f/4
Filters: none
Short note on PP: a lot. Played with color/saturation in CNX, cropped to 8X10 because original 4x6 had lots of deadspace, brought up the triangular thing to fit 8X10 using PS layers, denoised the background with nik Dfine

Hehe, it's all a little confusing, especially now at the end of the month, but philber summed it up nicely

He may have, however I think many others are going to find this confusing. I thought I understood it and then got confused again.
Perhaps the initial post "template" should include the name of the month that we are supposed to vote for. For example:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Camera body:

Short note on PP:

Also, in the rules list, maybe # 4 should be:
4. Your entry must contain your top 3 picks from September's competition. You may not vote for your own photo.
