Normally, this thing comes and goes really quickly. Now, an hour has passed and not a single one is sold.
With the hassle on warranty and Paypal's policy on international shipment, it's not a surprise to me that US sellers don't want to ship internationally.

Especially since there deals sell out within hours despite the "US only" designation.

All these "super duper eBay deals" have one boring thing in common, and that is that they never ship outside USA.
It was the same thing with the eBay deals from Beach Camera and Adorama. US only.
Do you really want to buy a US camera and ship it to Thailand ? It would save you about $ 200-250 instead of buying it in Thailand. And the camera would be without any real warranty. That's not a good deal (IMO)

Has anyone here ever bought from them? They have 133 negative feedback for the past 12 months and the comments all seem very similarly negative.

98.7% feedback on ebay indicates higher than average dissatisfaction rate compared to other power sellers. Most trusted power sellers have feeback %age of 99.5 or above.
Obviously you are never going to have perfect rating when you sell so many items, there are bound to be a few unhappy customers once in a while. However if you actually read the feedback, most complaints are either about the item sent not matching the item promised, or about the orders getting canceled without explanation etc. I would be cautious when buying such a high priced item from a seller like that.

There is nothing to worry about, the are a solid company, I'm sure others will chime in also who've bought from them. In fact I had some units arrive today, no issues with my orders.

Then why just not run auction for 15 hours instead of 24? It would end by itself and potential buyers would know how much time they have to complete purchase.

They are based in New York. And they probably thought it was a last shot to do this. So, the listing started at around 10am EST after their manager or someone who had authority there gave a green light to list it on eBay. And they had to end it before midnight before the MAP policy kicked in. Also, any potential buyer should have expected that items might run out or the promotion might end at anytime. Nothing biggie if you ask me.

Only problem is its $3050 for me as I live in New York and have $248 sales tax to pay. Waiting for an out of state seller to show up.
Please forgive my ignorance, but can't you just go to NJ and not pay sales tax? I live in Portland (OR) and have no sales tax. I know that people from Vancouver (and probably Idaho/NV/Cal as well) cross the bridge and make purchases here and not pay sales tax...
