How do I remove a couple of faint water drop marks on the coating of my lens? I cleaned with a Zeiss wipe and cloth, and they mostly lifted off, but not completely. I also tried Q tip w/ alcohol.
They don't impact IQ in the slightest - but I need to sell the lens and would like to have it completely clean if possible...

I don't know about on lenses, but vinegar is good for removing hard water mineral deposits. Much of California has pretty hard tap water. I've been to West Texas, and you aren't supposed to drink some tap water there -- and the stuff you can tastes pretty rank. Vinegar sales must be good thereabouts!
