Nice shots, Sasha. The Japanese maple is great, and I like the effect of the alternative processing on the last.

That isn't me on the ground, but it should have been. I had hoped to visit the Japanese Garden, this weekend, but thanks to United Airlines I never made it to Portland.

Popular indeed. I think that is where we met last year. Will be there this weekend to see what the gardens have to show me. (Weather Permitting).

How cool. The comparison between #1 and 2 is startling. Wow... Would have never thought the tree was so small. #3 is really cool too, love those kind of stair shots.

Very nice Aleksandra . I had looked at these before, then just opened up my latest December Shutterbug magazine, turned a page, and on p. 130 there is that same tree...
Guess I'd never thought a tree is an icon, but in this case I think it is.
