Like the subject isolation - but for photos 2 & 3 - kinda feel that the expressions on their face are too sombre for a "parade" if you know what I mean ... seem kinda grieft stricken! ...

you're right, in most of the pics the people didn't have smiles, Maybe I happened to just photograph the unhappy paraders.

this parade had more than the usual military presence so perhaps the ROTC and Coast Guard people were not happy to be in a parade. But even the costumed characters just didn't smile, at least when I clicked the shutter. Maybe Thanksgiving parades will have more happy marchers
