My wife and I got married 6. oktober this year and I have now starded with processing some of the images that where taken.
I had a friend of mine to shoot at the church and the offical images after. So far this is a big favourite and a image we might put on the wall in a large size
I like this image but I bet it's really great in color. The selective color on the flowers sort of kills what could otherwise be a very nice print in your home for me. That look is pretty dated.
It's YOUR photo hanging on YOUR wall - go with whatever you like! Who gives a crap what anyone else here thinks. Besides, you can always blame it on your wife Congrats on your wedding!

+1
Truth be told, most guests he'd have in his home would be more impressed with the flowers-in-color version than the all-color version or a straight black and white version.
Okay so I think it's stating the obvious to say do whatever you are happy with, but with that being said, here's the direction I would take it for print, personally. Grains of salt to be taken with this.
This is a very quick edit from a low-res JPEG and obviously isn't a final ready-to-print deal, but you get the idea:
At least *to me* posting images on here means 'what do you (the viewer) think'. There are post on here where people who made the post ask 'why no comments'.
Congrats. Yes, the color images is better *to me*.
For the record, I much prefer the color image as well. And of course the OP asked for C&C. Just hope he doesn't allow a bunch of jaded "we know better than thou" photogs to influence his decision.
I personally think it is an awesome photo for an album, not for a wall. The kid makes the photo interesting for an album but for not a big print (if it is a photo of my wedding). Just my opinion. I also like the color.
I personally would choose to go black and white or all colour. If you do selective colour on the flowers, you are drawing attention of the viewer directly to the flowers, not to the wonderful emotions/expressions on your face, and the flowers are not why you want to hang this photo up. It just seems like an odd thing to highlight. I would also use a more subtle way to highlight something.
I also agree that this may not be the best photo to hang up. I'm not sure if that is your kid and you wanted something with all 3 of you in it, but the kid looks disinterested and off to the side. If you love the expression of this one and the kid is not an essential part of why you chose this pic, maybe a cropped version is better?
Do you have one without the kid? I think it would have a lot more impact without him. Otherwise both color and b&w look good but I strongly dislike selective color.
Thanks alot for your comments, all of you
We are waiting a bit before we order any big prints and let this day sink in before we decide.
Here are some other images from our fantastic day
