But it is way to heavy and way to "loud". People run away.
Hence my desire to have something different:-) I have the 35 mm MF lens, but it is heavy as well asn MF is not very easy with 5D MKIII.
Great photos, and after seeing them, my suggestion would be an OM-D with a Panasonic 20mm f/1.7 (or a Voigtlander 17.5mm f/0.95) and a Zuiko 45mm f/1.8. That is, unless you don't think it's possible for you to do street photography without a 35mm f/1.4 eqv., although your own photos prove the opposite.
Since you're new to street shooting, and have used only a long zoom, I.d suggest starting with your 5DIII and Canon's 35 2.0. See if you can live with 35 only before investing in a new system.

Can't the 5D3 be set to a quiet mode?
It seems you would do well by adding either the inexpensive old EF 35/2 or the new 40/2.8 STM for such street shots as the pantomime girl. Relatively fast focus with good accuracy.
I would definitely want AF so I'd have the opportunity to "shoot from the hip".
Also, the good old 24-105L is well suited to everything street, except shallow DOF.
