So I'm almost exclusively a macro & sky photographer, but for my friend's birthday I stole his childhood baseball gear and constructed this photo. Criticism is welcome and appreciated.
Details:
Canon 5d Mark 2, Canon 24-70f/2.8L I. I used the mt-24ex twin flashes, taped together and placed in a softbox. Handheld camera right, about 3 feet away and 1 foot off the ground.
f/8, 1/100, iso100. 24mm focal length.
For fun, here is an unedited, straight out of camera jpg of this exact photo.
Exactly my thoughts, the hat looks a little weird. Any chance of stealing it again?? Rest look really good. tks... If you do get to it again, is there a brand-name on the ball?
1). Yes, fix crown on hat
2). Can you use the other side of the glove (ie: web side)
3). Write or photoshop his name/birthdate on ball.
4). Place ball inside of mitt..
Thanks everyone for the comments and recommendations. I didn't even notice the crown of the hat was lumpy, now I can't un-see it. Lesson learned, look through the lens at everything.
