Nice capture of that grand fallen tree. the brook in the front and with the aspens in the back of it, but it would be nice if you could have isolated the the tree just a bit more.
In my opinion it is the one that should draw your attention

Thanks for the comments. So you're suggesting that I do more to bring out the fallen tree, like maybe burn in the background a bit, or at least in the grasses and whatnot just behind the log to make it pop more?

Yes, but the problem is that you really have two items to focus on.
One is the the driftwood ( that should be the point of main focus) and the other is the trees in the background.
The trees, no matter how beautiful they are, seem to distract.
