Cool lines, Phil, but I must say the interest certainly tapers off near the top. I think a square crop, or perhaps a 2x3 (portrait), might fit it better.
Pretty cool shot here. Nice lines in it. I think Matt might be on to something, going to a 4:5 format crop, losing space off the top, could strengthen this.
Phil- The second shot here (crop of the first) is perfect in every way that seems important to me.
By far the best of your posts of this beach from your elevated vantage point.
