Yes. I got an email from them this morning. I'm trying to decide if I would prefer an automatic procedure. The manual procedure takes a bit of time, but you get to see exactly what's going on.
Always good to have competition to push each other. At this point this seems to be alot more manual effort compared to Focal. I'm sure it will continue to evolve and the price is good.

Interesting. It'll take something to get me away from Focal though.. I've found it very effective.
I have been waiting for the Mac version for a year. For $18 I don't mind putting in a bit of work. Actually I don't mind as long as something does the analysis and tells me what the correction is.

You do know that there is a beta version of FoCal available for the Mac, right? They've fixed several of the early bugs and seem close to a formal release.
As for FocusTune, it does seem a little more manual but this is the initial release.
Well I purchased lens align when it first came out. I liked the idea but I never had a lot of luck with it. Not sure why. I would try it one day and get a result. Try it again and get a different result. I just concluded that I'm going to send my high precision equipment to Canon for servicing. I'm sure it was user error.
For $19 I thought I'd give it a shot. One thing I did incorrectly was use a fluorescent style light this time. It is the type that screws into a conventional incandescent fixture and is 5000 Kelvin. Not sure if it flickers or not. The manufacturer stated not ti use lights that flickered. This was just a preliminary test but I did get unusual results. The software is super easy to use.
