They're all terrific, Tim, but the head on shot of the Muscle Milk car in the pits just blows me away. I don't know from cars (or from Muscle Milk, for that matter): what is it, and what are those arms rising out of the nose?

Just suspension parts. Unlike the DP's in Grand Am, the P1 cars have A LOT more downforce, and take corners at much, much higher speeds.

Thanks, that is 7. I got lucky this year. These were shot during practice. I walked down there and it seems every orange and blue vested media photog was there also. The fence had a nice big gap though with nobody leaning on it. Usually it is solid with spectators.
I meant 7...leaving 6 entering 7...sorry...guess I need more coffee...that is a VERY popular spot at night...very hard braking, usually some good glowing rotors and fire balls from exhausts...
