ah, so not an accurate one. I thought it might be added for the conversion.
can't remember what the mfd is on my conversion, but it should be pretty close to .5m. it's a great lens for flowers!
I am surprised how well it holds up at that distance.

Checking for interest:
I have a few 'optical' components sitting around that were part of as is or other purchases:
1. Leica Elmar 100 F4, bellows mount macro lens: Unfortunately I can't find the aperture ring (I still have it, but it is in one of the boxes with parts and stuff. I have all the other parts though.
2. Contax G 90 optical (with aperture) assembly
I had at one point thought I would convert the contax g to a tilt-shift lens, but I find myself short on time and skill to do this.
if anyone is interested PM me, maybe we can find a commonly agreeable solution
i have this Lens, and the crazy specular highlights are exactly the form of the aperture.
of course full open its round ...
i think the olympus designer must have been stoned to make highlights with spceship design.

Hello, I found this thread and I'm impressed! I'm interested in making my own Frankenzeiss Biogon 28.
sebboh do you happen to still have the STL files for the spacer rings for this lens? Or if you had some of those rings still left, I would be interested in buying them, but I realize this thread is rather old now.
Also, what did you use for the M-mount? Some M39-M adapter?

Yes, I do have the .stl files. I can email them if you pm your email address. I will double check, but I don't think that I have any of the actual rings themselves around right now (might have some prototyping ones).

Yes, I've used a variety of different m39 to m adapters. Any that doesn't have a cutaway in the diameter will do. The 6bit coding marks can get in the way of mounting screws locations though, so I would avoid those unless you really need them.

I do not have PMs available... Could you, please, send me the files to ████████?
Did you by any chance find any rings? How suitable do you think the prototyping rings would be?
Thank you!
