Dear fellows,
I have installed a new graphic card (PNY nVIDIA 6200AGP8x 350MHz Graphics Card with 512MB 64BIT DDR2 DVI VGA AGP BULK). The old card was a ATI Radeon (AGP).
The new card works BUT I can't perform any calibration with ColorMunki.
After I put the ColorMunki probe on the LCD monitor (LaCie photon20vision II), the screen becomes very very dark when calibration starts and the procedure fails (no profile can be created).
I have never experienced such experience in the past, and I wonder if there is come conflict between ColorMunki software and the card driver.
As a net result, it is impossible to calibrate my monitor!
Do you have any suggestion on how can I calibrate my monitor?
I received a good advice from a British person in another forum.
There is a little menu at the top when you run the Colormunki Photo program. I had to Click on File then Preferences. There are two tick boxes: Enable DDC calibration, and one about using the LUTs to set the luminance. I had to untick them both, and everything was OK
