FYI: 99% of the images were photographed with the Canon 5D Classic (which I still use) and an assortment of lenses. I've also used the 1Ds, 1Ds II, 1D II, 40D and a Nikon D2x.
Like it, and you've done some excellent stuff. Your interiors are so nicely lighted, and I still remember that you bring your own bulbs which is a great idea.

Very attractive but the graphics--masthead, gallery thumbnails, etc.--sure load slow and I'm on an ultra fast DSL connection. Maybe you need a faster hosting service.

Hmmm ... could be time of day. Nights are the busiest. My site generally loads really, really fast. I just tried it and it was a little slower than daytime access, but still fast enough,
Nicely lit, well composed and tastefully done. As for bringing your own bulbs, does that mean you change (as necessary) the bulbs in fixtures within the frame? Thanks for sharing these...

It's simple to navigate, controls, menus and thumbnails are quite elegant and get out the way of your work. Your color selection; background, fonts are easy on the eyes, text short, to the point and spot on.
As for load time, I'm running an older XP lappy on 1gb ethernet connection at 25x25, the site was fully active within a few seconds. I'd say top-drawer all round, well done

Yes, that's what it means. I generally bring along a bag of low-wattage bulbs, including small socket types, and use as-needed, switching them with the home owner's bulbs. Most of the homes have dimmers, but I can only turn them down so far 'cause the color temp changes pretty dramatically. In any event, I expose for the highlights (bulbs or outdoor light or sometimes both) and use strobes to balance things out. I have a bank of Canon 580s and 430s that I use on light stands,

I'm on a rural wireless connection which pretty much destroys the idea of watching videos but I didn't have any trouble accessing you site. Might have taken a few seconds but no longer (for me) than switching forums I belong to & use daily.

I tried loading in my laptop (wireless Verizon FIOS) and it was very slow and then my iPhone on 4G LTE and it wouldn't even load, so I gave up. I think something is up with you provider in your neck of the woods, sorry.
Loaded fine for me. Initially in just about 2 seconds then popped thru the photos with no delays. Stunning images. Enjoyed your site, thanks for sharing.

Jeff, verizon fios user here also, most of my comps are 4gb or higher, running XP, Vista and Win7, I'll try Steve's site tomorrow with a 2gb XP lappy, it does lag a bit with large youtube vids. The lappy I'm using is a 4+ yr old Dell Lattitude DC E6500, loaded to the gills with development tools and LR/PS, SQL Server running in the background...kinda odd, perhaps verizon was overloaded on your end, or as you stated; Steve's service for that matter? Perhaps try his site in the morning when less traffic is up n surfing...

Thanks very much. Yes, they are all beautiful homes. I always feel privileged to be allowed inside these places and given free reign. A couple of pics were taken in the home of Yankee star pitcher C. C. Sabathia. I think there are some of Mary Tyler Moore's former country estate as well. I've shot in homes as large as 35,000 square feet!
