N2 seems to have a lot of feather detail. I know that a lot of people are very averse to showing 100% detail, but could you post a 100% crop of the eye and fluffiness around, it as well as give us an idea of what the crop is relative to the whole image?

#8 is a winner Tim, they don't get any better than the impact this one has in my book my friend, a dream shot buddy
I will 'nit' only because it is almost perfect, to refine it I would work out the circular spots that have a bluish cast to them, there are several and the ones directly over the back of Mom are the most noticeable. Now I want to apologize for picking on the shot because it blows me away otherwise..............and I don't say that often
Eagle juvi on logs with ropes and chains are sweet, so is that how you keep them there Nice light on them buddy!
Piper could use a bit more snap for me and a little less of the overpowering water, seems to be robbing from the subtle hues on the bird? Fancy feathers on this one
Great looking yellowlegs
Towhee looks a little magenta to me........gosh you are still my friend aren't you
Rail on a rail looking for? Splendid burst of color and a cool deep red eye to draw me in closer!
There you have it, me and my nits, what a pain I can be If I were only as good as I want to be
Geeeeez you see soooooo many cool things........great variety!

Oh boy, why I oughta....
Looks like I woke up the beast within you
8 well I entered that one the contest we were talking about and left out the swallows So I like it too.
You know I love the log rats I'm hoping for more!
The thoughts on the SP are duely noted and I agree.
Towhee, hmm I don't see it but that doesn't mean it isn't there.
The Rail and Yellowlegs were treats in their locations, sometimes nature just plays nice.
A pain no, an honest friend giving a push, priceless.
The Yellowlegs was my first wow...all three of the Juvi BE are terrific, I especially love the light in #5 (second wow) and that cool pose in #6.
Third and biggest wow was the PBG's... the light is gorgeous, and the intimacy between momma and young one is fantastic buddy.
Great stuff Tim... man it's got to be a blast shootin' from the Yak.
Kruk
Mr Kruk!
I was loving the Yellowlegs on the pads, what a setup! Yeah the light was changing fast on the BE, it was quite dramatic. You know I have a soft spot for Grebes, I have more of those two coming in the next installment. You bet it's a blast shooting from the kayak, very relaxing and a great shooting platform.
wow! and this was just the stuff that was lying around unprocessed. a really nice collection of stuff, tim. i, apparently like everyone else, really like the grebe shot. very tender.
for the record, i think #4 is a winter plumage spotted sandpiper. solitary, in all plumages, has white flecks on his back (which this bird lacks). he is also a bit stocky for a solitary which is bigger and has a more elongated appearance (kinda like a yellowlegs!)
