I love this, Alan!
As a capture and for the processing both.
But you know me, I'm mostly about the subject, i.e. what's going on in the picture?
Well- what's going on fascinates me.
That's as beat-up and narrow a "street" as I've ever seen.
And there's this guy in a super-modern motor scooter bouncing his way through it.
I love it!
I'd be tempted to crop out the sky and wires altogether- but it's no big deal either way.
Italy? Or China?
It could be either, according to my memories of the two.
I lean to Italy, though, because of the bars on that window.
Charlie
Alan,
I always like your processing.
Which is saying a ton (or a tonne). The smudgy deep blacks seem so right here.
The comp is great too. Looking down the alley offers hints of other interesting scenes, a question of whether he came out of the alley. The dark verticals and distant shapes add balance to a great image.
'nuff said for now.
