Taken on my recent trip to Yellowstone, sun was barely out so light levels were extremely low. I had my D800 set to auto Iso. Take with the 400 2.8, 2.8 at iso 2000.
You know I'm one happy cappy with this camera...luvin it...
Your Yellowstone photos are inspiring me to think about making a trip out there again. I am an avid trout fly fisherman, but I'm thinking I need to do some more photo shooting while there. Perhaps you could give us some pointers... I know you were there for two weeks.. Did you stay in the park? What were the best times for finding wildlife and getting the great shots you did? Did you use a tripod or monopod for most of these shots? Did you have to hike in long distances to find the wolf and the bears? Any moose? I never saw one moose when I was there last. Did you camp? As you can see I'm very interested in the details of shooting in the park. Thanks for anything you are willing to share. Love your images.
