Been playing around with the Water Droplet photography- Trying different lighting techniques. Already posted 1 set of photos, I figured I would share a few more.

All of these shots are free hand- No sensor was used.

Yes- eventually worked out you were talking about a proximity sensor or similar to fire the flash rather than a camera sensor
