An incredibly good image, Karl.
The friendly teasing reminds me of an old-but-true story about a famous American photographer (Eisenstadt, I think). He was at an exhibit of his photographs and a "society lady" asked him what camera he used. The photographer answered, "A Leica." The woman turned to her grandson and said, "See, if you get a Leica you can take pictures like Mr. Eisenstadt does."
Yeah, right .
That's a good lens- but all marks to you Karl.

The "STICK" is still there......
Ohhhh, that stick, guess I have a project to do later, I'm at work please don't bother me about the stupid stick anymore Technically it is an alternate 'perch' not a stick

Please move the bird to the alternate "perch" and then clone out the other stick
Consider me officially and sufficiently teased... what an awesome shot buddy.
Terrific action and intensity, love the great eye contact, and your composition is perfect Karl... yes the glass is good, but the photographer is better.
Only nit/suggestion is to run some NR on the underside of the left wing.
Excellent work my friend and I can't wait to see more from this "delightful experience."
