A friend of mine was married last weekend. I offered to shoot the wedding as a gift. What I found out is when you work for free there is very little stress that usually accompanies the wedding day. After doing this for five years I think I have earned the right to have an opinion. This wedding proved to me that I am too caught up in equiptment, off camera lighting, lightroom actions, styles, perfect settings. I grabbed three lens' a monopod and reflector. No second shooter or assistant. I feel the images have a fun spontaneous feeling. Having a relationship with the bride and groom may have helped. As always cc's welcome.
