I received my "The Guard" from Rick Luther (I have no affiliation with him,) and it does a fantastic job in protecting the NEX-7's video button from inadvertent hits. I was a little skeptical to spend $20 on a little metal ring, but it works so well and looks so good that I've decided it was well worth it. The only thing that I'd maybe change is that I'd probably prefer a matte black version, but the silver still looks nice and OEM. Installation was very easy and solid.
Interestingly, despite only ordering one, Rick Luther inadvertently sent me two "The Guards," and, when I let him know, he was nice enough to tell me to just keep the second one or give it to a friend. Well, I only have one NEX-7, so I thought that it might be fun to have a quick photo contest for the second one, since I'm not sure who to give it to.
So, for those interested in my second copy of "The Guard," post your favorite, single pic taken with your NEX-7 in this thread, and, sometime in the next few days, I'll pick my favorite and ship "The Guard" to that artist for free (sorry, lower 48 U.S. only.)
This is a TOTALLY subjective, fun, loose contest that completely relies on my tastes, so don't read too much into it, and no hard feelings. I just thought it would be a fun way to see the nice NEX-7 images that will pop up here, rather than tossing my second copy of "The Guard" into a drawer, never to be seen again. Good luck!

Ha! It's funny you mention that. I nearly had everyone post their favorite accidental video, because that would have been fun to see, but I figured most delete them before importing into their computers.

Wish there was one for the NEX 5N, but since I will be buying a NEX 7 in the near future for a trip to SE Asia, perhaps this 5N shot can enter the competition?

Alrighty, it seems interest in this thread has waned, so I'll make a choice. All of these pics are great in their own way, and it was tough to pick. Although timpdx's pic is probably most like the kind of stuff that I'm normally interested in, I keep coming back to Derek's (sebboh) the most, so I'm going outside of my comfort zone a little, and I'm choosing his pic.
Derek, prepare to enjoy a world free of 10 second videos of the floor! Maybe Derek will come back to this thread and post his feelings on "The Guard," too.
