p.1 #1 · Oly OM-D Firmware 1.5 Downloaded but I have no idea what is in it
My OM-D only had firmware 1.0... . so I downloaded the Oly updater in order to download firmware 1.1 (1.2 was suspended I guess). However, the updater took me all the way to firmware 1.5 which got installed. So I have firmware 1.5 now but I have no idea what's in it, there is no indication on Olympus' own site. I am using a Mac. Does anyone know?

Well, Edgar Maguyon should be happy. For weeks, adding IS support for legacy lenses in video was all that he could talk about...now it's here, so we know Olympus has made one customer very, very happy today.

I just updated mine, but it was a bit confusing.
For those who are trying to do it:
1) download the Updater software from Olympus (I just went through the 1.2 update link to get here: http://www.olympusamerica.com/cpg_section/cpg_downloads_updater_info.asp
2) load the software on your computer
3) connect your OMD to the computer with the provided USB cable, turn on the camera.
4) update the software: initially this will only go to firmware version 1.4
5) then update to the latest software: 1.5

Using IS with a legacy Zoom is a bit of a pain.
How so?
Is it the focal length input that you're referring to?
For my Contax 35-70, I left it at 50mm and it seems to work well.
Much better than no IS.
