Here is one taken from the pedestrian bridge, that links Petco Park to the Hilton and Convention Center, in San Diego. I had to shoot this handheld, because there is a small chain-linked fence, that angles away and is behind a handrail. Therefore, the only way to get the lens right up against the fence to blur the fence out, was to hand hold it.
Quick question. I noticed you shot this with the 35L at f/1.4. Did you focus this with live view and what did you focus on, if you remember. Thanks and thanks for posting.

Just put the lens on infinity focus. I'm pretty sure I focused with live view, since I had to lean over in an akward way. The live view made hand-holding it a bit easier and to use the built-in leveler, as well.
