p.1 #1 · Output sharpening with foveon sensors?

I have posted this on the alt gear forum as well but probably should have put it here. Just about to order my first prints using files from recently purchased Sigma dp2 Merrill, my first foray into a foveon camera. Previously, my routine was capture sharpening in LR then output sharpening in PS depending on print size. In fact, still using Photokit plugin. With the sigma, no capture sharpening is required but I am unsure what to do with file before printing. I assume further sharpening is needed but would it be to the same degree? How about large prints? Uprezzing in PS so far has ruined the perfect clarity I see at 100% onscreen. Do I just print at 180 dpi if that is all I have the pixels for?

Thanks in advance.

HI
I only sharpen my images unless its for web or print output

You always need to sharpen for printing due to ink bleed..it has nothing to do with the quality of your image .. its counteracting the softening that occurs by the printing process. I always print using Qimage its the best interpolator and print sharpening program out there
