Haven't had much time to process images lately, plus I've enjoyed being a spectator of the mighty fine images being posted here!
Brought my 5DIII and 400DO along on a family vacation to the big island of HI in August. Didn't get much shooting in, but saw a couple good subjects.
The highlight was a morning trip up the mountain to find the Hawaiian Honeycreeper. I was not able to capture a good image, but I did see a few. An amazing bird!
Thanks for stopping by

The Big Island has a lot to offer if you know where to look.

I often wish that I had my 400 DO back to shoot again, such a cool lens to use.
Some nice sharp images with a pleasing variety of color and habitat. Nice work in the mixed lighting offerings Jim. That BCNH is an interesting shot, in the subdued light those red eyes really stand out and they are sneaky birds so your setting on this one is befitting
#7 is one amazing exposure, that looks wonderful and tack sharp!
