They make the best large format lenses and are at the top of that particular tree, so I would not count them out. Their blurb:
With these four newly recalculated lenses Schneider-Kreuznach meets ever increasing demands resulting from a continuous decrease in pixel size. They have been optimized for maximum performance for the latest sensor sizes and feature outstanding imaging performance.
The high optical quality of the lenses was achieved by using high-quality material. “All lenses are calculated in Bad Kreuznach, where they are manufactured with the highest precision. We are particularly proud of the high image quality and the modern design of these new lenses,” says Frithjof Spangenberg, product manager for Photo Imaging at Schneider-Kreuznach. All lenses are available with bayonet mounts for Canon EOS, Nikon-F, Sony Alpha and Pentax-K.
Looks like they mean to be a market player to me. Maybe good from 'Bad'.

The question is not what sort of prices, but how many Bentley's do you wish to order, sir? (Would that be gold plated, or the standard chrome?)

Highly interested in that 85/2.4 makro. Speaking of prices, if they were made in Germany, I doubt they will be lower than Cosina Zeiss's.
Yes, this macro sounds interessting. With their high quality enlarging lenses they have much experience with macro lenses, and they are a good supply for lenses for machine vision industry, Their lenses have the right mechanical quality too.
It is "interessting" or "odd" that they wrote nothing about the possible magnification range.
I think the prices will be to much for my hobby, but no problem for my work. Hope to test it soon.
The one I am interested in is PC-TS Super-Angulon 28mm f/4.5 HM Aspheric. I could use that as my WA TS on the D800E without concerns hitting the builin flash as the Nikon 24 PCE does.

Ain't that one and the same in the end? And please share the result.

No not. I am not a photographer.
I work as optics engineer at a manufacturer of machine vision cameras. I do some lens testing and such - but the results are property of the company. So after tests I can dream of good lenses, but not more - thats the sad thing about it. Some lenses only start dreaming too much, since we manufacture cameras that could use the same lenses as my DSLR.
I think the macro 85 sounds promising. Judging by the size it looks more like a 1:2 than a 1:1 lens. Poor info in the pdf, no min focusing distance and no magnification ratio.
The 28 looks solid, I wish it had been a bit wider though, at least a 24mm. Rob, would you not miss those extra mm's of wide angle real estate? Hello by the way! Henrik

Oh well... I hope at least you can give us a relative performance report compared to other good lenses out there.

Hi Henrik
No I wouldn't miss the extra few mm as I would use foot zoom to a better position or throw on the Zeiss 25 or Nikon 14-24 (granted no tilt/shift capabilites) or just switch and shoot my 5D MKII with the 17 or 24 TSE. Shooting with multiple platforms sometimes has it advantages.
