Here is an autumn panorama from Sweden, I managed to fit the DR in a single exposure but I had to mangle the photos a lot in post. I hope it doesn't look to cooked.

Regarding the portrait of your infinitely better half, it is hard to believe that such good portrait could be made with a lackluster lens such as 400 DO.
On stage Friday night at Jammin' Music & Arts, Long Beach CA.
An evening performance, a good friend's daughter Yvette!
She was fantastic, 10 months of study and already playing Beatles tunes!
50D, 50 f1.4, handheld, no flash, minor cropping in LR.
Pro quality images there, Jerry......intimate and warm portraits with excellent framing/composition.
The exposure and white balance should have been quite a challenge, but you pulled it off like a pro.
I finally can play!!
Have been lurking in this forum for a long long time. First time being able to take pictures in full autumn !! (I live in sunny Singapore).
Forgive the amateurism .... I just really wanted to share a few pictures ...
All with a 5D2 and with a 24-105mm

Peter, talk about a low keeper rate, center spot AF/recompose, I sure hope the 6D's more sensitive center point works...too many misses. Yvette's performance was a bit over 3 minutes, it's been a while shooting in mixed lighting, took a few dozen shots prior to the show, it was packed but there was room to just move squeeze in...in my powerchair...about 2hrs of kids 4-17 playing, violin, piano, guitars, drums, bass, solo vocals and a 5 piece band to end the show.
Thanks for the compliments, pro not, lucky yes
The 50mm worked great, should have brought the 85mm also, next time, perhaps even a 28 or 35. Took my G12 but given my extreme height...I handed it off to a friend and he handled things well, movies and other images from the evening will be on my Flickr acct.
It was a fun night out...think I'll concentrate on flora n fauna and static objects tho

Comments and critics welcome
(Please help me improve !! )
Welcome to the FM forum, and I think your images have fine clarity, exposure and they show a good eye for composition. Not much that I can suggest in terms of improvements, you seem to know what you are doing already.
