Well, behind as usual. I've only one set from August, and not sure this is even my favorite, I guess I just liked it because it amused me on some level. So essentially the bride had been waiting for half an hour for the MUA, with the ceremony now only around 45mins away she was a little fret. So started to check through emails and realised that she hadn't actually ever confirmed a booking for the MUA... So a small moment of anxiety, I tried to put emphasis on her expression and the grandfather clock through the other room by making the comp as clean as I could. But yeah, will she really want to remember this, I am not sure. I think it's nice to capture the lows as well as the highs though, to put everything in context.
Hope i'm not derailing the thread too much, but I had a question about this type of shot. For getting such soft light on the subject, doesn't the modifier have to be quite large and fairly close? And if so do you simply edit it out of the shot? Or is there a more efficient way?
I've only been using 24" softboxes, but i'm aching to go larger.
I think, it would be this. Bride entered 20 seconds ago, bride and groom had tears in their eyes and still have. Both overwhelmed by the whole thing and the registrar's first words.
