I just got a 1Dx and strangely enough the exposure compensation cannot be added to my "menu" since it's only accessible from the top of the camera and not the menu on the menu...oh well I kinda like it still
Hit the info button a few times until it comes up with a display of all the current camera settings. Then hit the Q button and move the joystick until you get to the exposure compensation field and use the back dial to adjust.
It's not the same thing, but then, I'm not sure why you'd want EC in the my menu...
thanks..that would work! I wanted it to shoot from a blimp on sets, where the top of the body it's harder to reach, sometimes instead of manula I shoot in AV or TV..
