The flat light is working against these. Either no flash or directional would have been better.
Practice using off camera lights with men wearing hats before you do it on a wedding though.
If someone is going to go to the effort to do a gangsta theme encourage them to go to a location that is going to be congruent with that look. A park isn't really working, some backstreet alley or parking lot would have been better.

I totally miss the fun or point of celebrating the lifestyle of low life criminals.
Luckily the OP is not asking you to comment on the clients' choice of style. This is a photography forum, not a wedding style forum. He was hired to make photographs, not to style the wedding. How does that comment help the OP improve? If you're not here to help someone improve (either by giving specific pointers or by offering helpful criticism), why comment? Boring night?
Seriously. What's the deal with comments like this one and Boston's? Personal digs at the clients (no matter how distasteful you may find their style/appearance) serve nobody except your ego for about 10 seconds.
What is this vodka soda and how did it get in my hand?
This style of photography isn't exactly my cup of tea – and no that tat shot isn't all that flattering, but I appreciate the OP posting. It's scary to put your work out there in front of people. The least we can do is be nice ... and no, I'm not saying to hand out free pats on the back when they're not deserved. I mean be KIND ... offer genuine critique when it's asked for. Bashing clients isn't all that helpful.

I was the second so I didnt get an assistant for ocf and I didnt choose the location. you certainly are correct about choosing a better background, ty. I use flash just to help lift the shadows, I guess I used too much??

An interesting choice by the bride and groom for sure. lol.
A couple of thoughts.
Set 1 1 looks a little tilted in a not purposeful way.
Set 1 3 looks a little OOF.
Set 2 1 I like a lot, even with the high contrast processing. I wish the guy on the right was looking up...
Set 2 2 is probably my fav.
Set 2 3 has a green tint on my monitor.
Set 2 4 I might have moved a little more right to center them. Shooting over the shoulder of the bride and having the groom's eyes looking down on her loses a little of the tenderness of that moment without her eyes also looking up.
Set 3 4 is a nice moment.
Set 4 2 I think I either want more of the guy on the left in focus or less of him in focus. But it is a little too close to being in focus for me to not have him in focus. <--- What a crappy sentence. I hope you understood what I was driving at. lol.
