You could also get your own photography app from prophoto apps and make client galleries. That way client are passing your app around to their friends which gives them access to a lot more work and other details.
No idea about InDesign features. Even if it allows something similar, it's expensive, and somewhat time-consuming program to learn.
The Prophotapps website suggests it's $299 to purchase, and $199/year to maintain. From what I see on their website, it's an iPhone-only App at the moment.
Sticky Albums creates a customized gallery for each client. The App/Gallery becomes permanently available once it's been downloaded via a Wi-Fi connection. It seems to be dead-easy to use from an administrative point of view, and also easy to use from the client's point of view.
The original question isn't so much about this particular app, but more about the benefits (or potential benefits) of providing something like this to clients.

I've been trying it out for the last couple hours and everyone seems to love it. Other than a slow download time, only good reviews so far.
Sticky albums and really any mobile app is a really cool idea. But sometimes we need to step back and think like a client. How many of your clients are really going to understand how to use or share or save the sticky albums link on their phone? I am going to bet, not all or a lot of your customers. Sure we all would know how to do it. We are photographers and these were designed to appeal people like us. But how is it really going to build your business if your client isn't going to utilize it like they should.
With that said. I use stickyalbums for high school seniors only and it works for them. They get it. I tried it with brides and they don't get it.
