p.1 #1 · So, for those that have had both. 52III or 1DSIII?

For long exposures and some bif work. Does the higher ISO in the 5dIII really produce a clean image?........Thanks, Mike

I'm curious about how these two cameras stack up now, too... although I'm not really interested in anything above ISO 100.

I had a 1Ds III for a short time last year, and I'm thinking of picking up another one now that prices have dropped so much.

Usability goes to the 5DIII, being a tank and the color rendition to the 1DsIII. Otherwise, they're pretty close.

I still have both. The 5D3 is a touch better overall except low iso raw image quality at normal light levels. The 5D3 is outstanding in low iso long exposures and at high iso. Only the 1DX slightly beats it in that regard if at all.
