If you have the capture, I would add a bit more water on the bottom. Otherwise a little crop tool work should do it. After that look again at the top of the image and see if a tighter crop would help.
Like Jim, I want to see some water under those sail boats. The two masts at the left distract, I would crop the left between the mast but keep some space for the building.
I'm sure it was exciting to see the Blue Angels over the bay! I recently attended an air show where they performed.
One thing that I notice is that the smoke trail in your photo looks dirty brown, not the off white I remember from the air show I saw. Was it actually that brown and nasty looking?
It looks like you were fighting some haze/smog. The contrast looks pretty cranked, there's not much detail in the jets and the white boat looks pretty hot.
The smoke trail might not have been that brown. All of the photos I took that day were heavily vignetted and over exposed. I used a 5d and the bigma. It isn't a combo I would recommend. It was however the best thing I had to work with. It was one of those foggy mornings too.I tried to adjust it in lightroom then in photoshop. Thanks again for your feedback and correcting my photo.
Best,
Steve
The extra water definetly helps. You might also straighten up that shore line. That may just might be my personal taste though. LAB color mode is probably the best route I know for working with clearing fog. - Paul
Very nice colors on the Angels. One of the few that I've seen with detail and good color. It typically is very challenging for most people to get sky and Blue Angels well rendered.

Thanks Kent!
