Hi, this is my first try of making a panorama (horizontal) using the basic RRS single row pano rig. (Used the 5D3 and 24mm TSE II). It stitched almost perfectly using PS photomerge without any tweaks
Jajaj yeah. I said what the heck, let me give a shot and see what happens. I took my time figuring out the nodal point with the same degree of overlap, focus and aperture settings. Its tough to do it with a wide angle.
Using the 24mm TSE II on the 5D3 with the RRS L plate and single row rig the setting is 4 on the slider. (almost infinity focus and f11)
No excuse needed! Its San Juan, Puerto Rico. Those who know it well might recognize it otherwise its tough to tell since the most distinctive elements are the forts in the old city (which is about a mile or 2 behind me)
Thx for the comments! The RRS rig is awesome and really helpful in setting up time and time again and getting consistent results. Its really well though out, simple and rock solid but smooth and packs small.
