....into the world of film. Or back into the world of film I should say. I got my first few rolls of film back from the lab. These shots were just to fire off some rolls quickly to test the camera out. So far, happy with the results if not the compositions.
Nice Rattymouse, I must agree on your assessment of the dust issue, I only see one easily fixable spec in the first image and lots of nice acceptable grain.
I'm afraid I dont see what you are talking about in the first image. I see a spec or two.
Maybe because I've done a ton of scanning on my own and had to clean up the dust on my own, I know what it looks like when I see it. It's worse with color, and I'm telling you that this lab did unacceptable job on the first image.
I see it in at least one other frame as well. They're either not cleaning up the dust or they have far too much of it wherever the scanner is, or something else that causes it.
Completely unacceptable work.
Edit: It's even worse in that last frame. No way I'd ever come back to this lab, money back or not.
