Somehow even though everything looks great on my fancy ass apple calibrated thunderbolt screen, it looks less
great at web resolution. In this case the left of the original picture looked too hot after I published to the web.
The second one. But the sky in the second looks way over done. need to brighten up that local adjustment. make sure when you export your exporting with the colour profile embedded into the image... most browsers will read it and adjust accordingly...
that's better but the issue i'm seeing (on my monitor..) is the visible area where you are blending the local adjustment with the darker terrain, smoothing that blend would make this shot a real winner!
It was a little difficult to get rid of because it is a relic of the ND grad I used when I took the picture which
should probably have been placed a little lower when I took the picture.
I am going to leave the fine tuning issues alone, as I am sure my screen is different from everyone else's.
I do want to say that I love the composition and subject. Super observation skills to see the possibilities and then build the shot as well it you did.
