p.1 #1 · Sony Steady Shot with legacy glass?

After searching around the interweb it seems there are reports that it works with and without a chipped adapter, can anyone confirm that it actually does work with adapted lenses? I'm thinking about getting the A57 as a backup, if Steady Shot does in fact work with legacy glass, that might be the push I need to actually get one. Thanks in advance.

i have a900.

had the zeiss 50/2 mp zf.1 for 2 months before i put a chip on. and a leica 50/1.4 R for 12 months before i put a chip on that.

i can say for certain that a900 SS doesn't work til there's a chip on the mount.

that said, the chip isn't that big a deal to buy and glue on the mount.
