Just a little skyline out in the country near Santa Fe. Yesterday brought on some amazing storms in the afternoon and chased this one down. The lightning displays from this cell were really nice.

Seriously, I've made thousands of lightning attempts (we get a lot of thunderstorms here, but the sky is generally smaller), and I would probably figure I'd peaked with this one...and of course the church itself is a classic...
I just can't turn the page , but I need to stop ranting...

Thanks and just at the right place at the right time. The lightning actually got better as the storm moved into open country but was sure happy to catch this.
Very, very good shot, both aesthetically as from a technical point of view. I hope you managed to make it out without soaking because that looks rather close...
