p.1 #1 · Lightroom 1 & 2 & 3

I was wondering if I should delete from the applications folder version 1,2,3 as I now use version 4?
I can see they dont take up a lot of room, but I was wondering if they shared data or files with the latest version.
Incidentally, I'm running mac, if that makes any difference ?

I can't believe you haven't gotten any answers to this.

On a Mac, just drag the old apps to the trash. That won't affect any presets that the newer version is using.

true but given that you're asking that question, I'm thinking you may have never deleted any of the catalog backups either.

You dont need anything other than the LR4 catalog and 3-4 catalog backups.

The reason for asking the question..... I put LR1 in the trash, which initiated the "clean my mac" application.
This application also clears out old and associted files..... It warned me LR1about to be deleted, also shared files with later versions of LR......
Anyhow, since then I got rid of the original LR1, and all seems fine, so far.
