Bruce_T and I met up at Lilypons last Saturday. We shot lotus and water lilies for 3+ hours as the temp climbed into the 90s. This post will be about the lotus. Not much to say, but I started shooting before sunrise with my Sigma 150 and a 12mm extension tube - tripod mounted until the sun got bright enough for me to hand hold. At one point, still before sunrise, I saw a movement out of the corner of my eye, and turned to see a Red Fox trotting down the road. I shot 2 frames - one had too much motion blur, and the other shot was a nello... Exif should be attached.
Wow, Ron, you really caught the details in the flowers. Gorgeous! You make a strong argument for me dragging my butt out of bed before sunrise next time.
Can’t wait to see what you do with the water lilies.
Isn't this a great place to photograph Ron?
Were any of the exotic water lilies on display in the small boarded pools near the office?
Boy they have some fine specimens growing there but usually in late May-June.
Well done here! Fine images!

Thanx all for commenting. Work has unexpectedly turned into 11-12 hour days. I probably won't have any time until next week, but I will respond individually when I can ~ Ron
