After a few scorching weeks, it finally cooled off allowing us to go out and enjoy a delightful late afternoon with low humidly, a mild breeze and temperatures in the low 80s. These photos span just 3 seconds at Jamaica Bay Wildlife Sanctuary here in New York City on Sunday 30 minutes before sunset. The terns were fishing, the skimmers skimming, herons and egrets flew past and ducks took off for places unknown.
